Tattoo My Heart (Heroes of Seaside Point #1) by Mia Dymond

The Book
Release Date: 25 April 2012

It all began with a sixth shot of Tequila ...

Independent, carefree Annessa Dupree knows she has a knack for attracting trouble but doesn't realize her true talent until she witnesses a wedding day murder. Armed with the terrible secret, running home is her only option.

Sheriff Casey McIntyre has loved Annessa since the tender age of twelve, trouble and all. Hell-bent on mending past differences between them, he welcomes her home with open arms.

When Annessa is forced to reveal the real reason for her return, Casey must save her life while earning her trust.

My Opinion  3.5 STARS

**My thanks to the author for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**

This book has a multiple POV.  We have our main characters Annessa and Casey, we have Travis and Verity and we also have our baddie in italics.

It would have been better from just our main characters points of view and the baddies, I think that adding Travis and Verity didn't help but it does let us know them more as they are the main characters in the next book.

You can tell right from the beginning of the book that Annessa is trouble and the Casey has long spoilt her.  The whole thing about her being pissed at him for so long, yet never given her 'V' card to anyone else however at the age of twenty four, I didn't get that.

The story rolled well progressing to our capture of the baddies and the eventual HEA where Casey final puts a foot down and man's up a little in his relationship with Annessa.

The sex scenes are fairly hot, but there is lots of build up in foreplay in other scenes as he respects Annessa enough to not go the entire way before she is ready.

The epilogue ends with Verity and Travis beginning a new lot of trouble brewing from Verity's side.
